Formed by Neil Halstead and Rachel Goswell in 1989, Slowdive became one of shoegaze’s shining lights thanks to albums like Just for a Day and Souvlaki. After the band’s 1995 dissolution, Halstead and Goswell formed the acoustic-oriented Mojave 3. Slowdive reunited in 2014 and released their self-titled album in 2017. Their latest album, Everything Is Alive, was released in 2023.
