“Music” Archives

I suppose now’s as good a time as any to confess that it’s only been within the last year or so that I really got into The Smiths.

The cover art promises more than the music, as good as it may get at times, can ultimately deliver.

But like I said, that was four years ago, and little — if anything — has emerged from the band’s camp since then.

A more evocative, interesting take on “world music” than most of what you’ll find marked as such in your local record store.
