Listening to this band, you wish they get everything they long for, because if they do, that means there’s a small chance you might get it too.

Just sit back, take everything with a grain of salt, and hope that you’ll be able to make music like this someday.

The sounds that Autechre conjure out of their computers will probably be the closest audio approximation we’ll ever have of the inner workings of the atom.

Love Spirals Downwards have released an album that’s incredibly listenable and quite beautiful.

Caul is similar in tone, but far more, dare I say, melodic and musical than anything I’ve heard by Lustmord.

Evokes scenes of long-abandoned cathedrals in the wasteland, Christian ceremonies carried out in the catacombs, black-robed monks carrying out their sacred duties.

There’s a great sense of intimacy and warmth here, which sounds odd compared with the often bleak and frightening sounds Caul uses.

This was Slowdive’s swan song, and a gorgeous one at that.

Souvlaki is Slowdive’s best collective effort, funneling the atmospherics of their previous efforts into a more cohesive package.

My first introduction to Slowdive, and an album that left such an impact on me that I still compare new albums to it today.

I’d like to take this album on a long drive through the country with the top down, and just soaking up the spring.

Definitely an album every rock fan should own.

Suffice it to say, Gold was one of the best Christian releases of 1995.
