Don’t Turn Away

I just finished looking at this gutwrenching photo essay chronicling the spread of AIDS throughout Asia. Some of these photos may be difficult to look at, but all are undeniably powerful and moving. It’s part of a series of articles that Time is running the Asian AIDS epidemic, highlighted in “Stalking A Killer.”

Here’s a sobering thought… in the time it takes you to read that article, around 40 Asians will have died of AIDS.
