I never got into Dragon Ball and I’ve never really cared for musicals at all. But this Dragon Ball musical, performed earlier this year in China to celebrate the franchise’s 40th anniversary, is dang impressive. From the costumes and dance choreography to the cool stage and visual effects, it’s a blast to watch, and the crowd is clearly enjoying ever single second of the spectacle.
