“Four Days” by Sadplanet

If you get Slowdive’s Simon Scott to master your debut single, then I think you’ve already done a good job of establishing some shoegaze bonafides. Sadplanet’s “Four Days” has everything you’d want from a potential modern shoegaze classic: dreamy female vocals, wistfully chiming guitars, the most delightfully delicate distortion, and so on.

I haven’t been able to dig up much about Sadplanet, not even the members’ names. Their Facebook page contains details about some upcoming shows, but more importantly, several videos and reels that hint at even dreamier sounds to come. Same goes for this YouTube clip from a concert earlier this year.
