Introducing Google Chrome

Google announces their new open-source browser, entitled Chrome, via this nifty comic book that goes into quite a bit of (geeky) detail (Blogoscoped has a nice concise summary, if time is an issue). I find it interesting that Chrome is built on top of Webkit, the same engine that powers Safari, Omniweb, and Google’s Android project. Chrome is currently available for Windows only; Mac and Linux versions are still under development.
