Returner

HKFlix is now offering pre-orders for Returner. It’s under $16, as compared to the $50-$60 “deluxe” editions that have been available for awhile now. The only catch is that it’s encoded for Region 3, so if you don’t have a regionless DVD player like I do (ha!), you’re out of luck. I’ve been really looking forward to seeing this film, as I’ve heard it’s a pretty cool-yet-cheesy sci-fi funfest, and it does star Takeshi Kaneshiro, who happens to be the epitome of cool.
