Sex, Drugs, and Something Else

The next month or so promises to be rock n’ roll heaven. Not sure if planets are aligning, or if someone sacrificed a virgin or two, but it’s been awhile since this many great shows have been this close together.

First up, Knife In The Water is playing in Omaha this Thursday at The Junction. Bright Calm Blue and others are playing in Lincoln the following night. It’s Hood down in Lawrence, KS on April 3. And Explosions In The Sky and Fridge are in Grinnell, IA on April 26. Alas, I don’t think I’ll be able to hit the …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead show this week due to work (but if anyone will be there and wants to submit a review/photos, that’d be cool).

Also, they’ve updated the band schedule for Cornerstone 2002, with the likes of Spy Glass Blue, Rosie Thomas, Woven Hand, Scaterd Few, and Roadside Monument. Woohoo… Nolan and I have been discussing our plans for this year, and if everything goes according to plan (which it won’t, but it’s nice to believe), it’ll be something special.
