A live action remake of Akira directed by the guy who did Blade?!? That has to be one of the dumbest things I’ve heard all week.
I’m currently rewatching the entire Evangelion series in preparation for my review of The End of Evangelion, and I’m reminded again of just how impressive it is. It might be a bit before I get to the review, simply because there’s a lot to wade through in the series, but in the meantime you can read my reviews of the “Perfect Collection” and Death & Rebirth.
