“Whatever Makes You Happy” by Elevator Division

Back in 2002, Kansas City’s Elevator Division released the Whatever Makes You Happy EP which, in addition to boasting some really cool cardboard artwork by Danny Joe Gibson, also had some of the post-punk outfit’s best songs. And specifically, the title track, a rollicking number highlighted by Jeremiah Gonzales’ (Redder Moon) fiery riffs on the outro.

However, the EP was limited to less than 500 copies, making it all but impossible to hear those songs. (I still have my copy, by the way.) Until now, that is. The band recently uploaded the EP to their Bandcamp page for the low price of $3 alongside the rest of their releases, including their three reunion singles from 2021 and 2022.
