Demo by Veer Chasm (Review)

Not so industrial to turn away goth fans and not so goth as to turn off industrial fans.

There are a number of bands that could be described as industrial-goth, but most tent to lean one way or another. Veer Chasm seems to have struck a pretty even balance with their debut demo. Not so industrial to turn away goth fans and not so goth as to turn off industrial fans, Veer Chasm mixes the genres with a pop sensibility that should unite both crowds and then some.

Dark keyboards, metallic percussion, and a vocal style from somewhere else entirely are recorded at an impressive quality level. Originality and top quality — who could ask for more? The result is a very good cassette, worthy of both major label attention and your hard-earned money.
