Frustration by Cult of Jester (Review)

Eleven (formerly Fear of Faith) returns with yet another demo chock full of cyberspeed, industrial, and fearcore music. Eleven incorporate hardcore, death metal, and industrial into their sound. Most of the vocals are hostile screams although Eleven has added *gasp!* melody to some of their songs.

The lyrics are well crafted although I must mention their use of “F*@#” and “D@#$” in two songs. As Geoff of Eleven told me, “They were the only words that would fit into the song well enough to convey what we wanted to say.” Other than this, the music is a constant joy all the way through. Heavy and dark industrial for today’s dark times.
