Reviews of Tooth & Nail Records Titles

For over two decades, Jason Martin’s “blue collar” approach to music has resulted in an impressively reliable discography.

Dial M is yet another fine offering from one of the most reliable and dependable names in music today.

Ronnie Martin’s antediluvian history concept record takes even the most familiar of Biblical tales and puts a newly poignant spin on them.

The Brothers Martin is equal parts Starflyer 59 and equal parts Joy Electric, not just a trip down nostalgia lane.

Brother, Sister is a perfect encapsulation of everything that’s both good and bad about mewithoutYou’s music.

The Ministry of Archers feels like a throwback to past Joy Electric efforts like We Are The Music Makers and Five Stars For Failures.

An album where nearly every single song grabs you by the throat.

This album has a bit of a novelty factor to it, but it’s still really fun, and that’s all that matters.

These guys are still fairly young, so expect some good things to come from them.

Strongarm has some very insightful and powerful songs, lyrically and musically.

In addition to these fresh, exciting elements, the album also features some of the most honest, spiritual songs that Martin has written in, well, quite some time.

The innocence of Martin’s music has always been one of the main attractions that Joy Electric has had for me.

While still a magnificent feast for the ears, every song on The Tick Tock Treasury reminds me of past Joy Electric albums.

At the risk of sounding cheesy, Joy Electric’s music brings back a sort of wistfulness for more innocent, carefree days.

I would strongly recommend it to anyone who likes techno-dance-computer-music-video-game soundtrack-sounding music.

However, it’s very fitting that I Am the Portugese Blues sport one of the older style covers, as in many ways, it’s a regression towards the band’s earlier sound.

Great production and song writing makes for an intense yet comforting journey through the imagination of Klank.

If there was ever a Christian recording that should carry a warning label this is it!

In some ways, this album is an amalgamation of everything that Martin has done before.

Havalina returns to Tooth & Nail Records with another unique and delightfully quirky album.
