The Expanse, Season Three

The Expanse, Season Three (2018)

It took us quite awhile to make it through this season of The Expanse, so much so, in fact, that I was worried that we’d lost momentum and might never finish. But I needn’t have worried. Every time we watched another episode, I slipped right back into the world of the Rocinante with ease. Time and again, I’m impressed at just how good an adaptation this turned out to be, given the original book’s wide-ranging scope. Season three is arguably my favorite season of The Expanse, and it contains some of my favorite moments in the series, be it the culmination of the Earth/Mars war, Amos’s “You’re not that guy” speech, or Anna Volovodov’s faithful introspection in the face of the unknown.
