Arcane’s Second Season Finally Gets a Teaser

Netflix’s Arcane is one of the best animated series to come along in quite some time. Based on the popular video game — which you don’t need to play in order to enjoy the series — Arcane blends rich world-building, cool steampunk aesthetics, thrilling action, and vivid artwork and animation to great effect.

The first season, which debuted all the way back in November 2021, ended on quite the explosive cliffhanger, and fans (myself included) have been eagerly awaiting the second season. As this new teaser reveals, season two picks up right where season one left off, with estranged sisters Violet and Jinx now on opposite sides of a growing war between the utopian city of Piltover and the oppressed people of Zaun — a war made all the more deadly by a blend of magic and technology.

No specific release date has been announced, but Arcane’s second (and final) season will begin streaming some time in November 2024.
