“As We Decompose” by Slow Salvation

In less than two short years, guitarist Travis Trevisan and singer Christina Hernandez — aka, Slow Salvation — have established themselves as one of today’s premier dream pop acts. And their latest single, which is replete with sighing vocals and billowing guitars that recall Just for a Day-era Slowdive, only adds to that reputation.

The duo are once again joined by drummer Matt McCartie (formerly of Driver Eight), who has played on their previous singles, and the song — which is a very good teaser for the band’s upcoming Gemini album — was mastered by Ride’s Mark Gardener.

“As We Decompose” is currently available from Velvet Blue Music, which will be releasing Gemini on May 30, 2025.
