The Cure Announce Songs of a Live World Live Album

All royalties from the live album will go to support children living in war-torn areas.

To celebrate the release of their long-awaited and highly acclaimed Songs of a Lost World — their first album in sixteen years — The Cure streamed an epic live set at London’s Troxy on November 1 and subsequently uploaded the entire affair to their YouTube channel. The well-received concert featured the band performing Songs of a Lost World in its entirety followed by an extended selection of Cure classics.

And now, The Cure’s releasing the Songs of a Lost World portion of their concert as a new live album, featuring a new mix by Robert Smith. Titled Songs of a Live World, the album will be released on vinyl, CD, and cassette, with all royalties being donated to War Child UK, a charity dedicated to protecting, educating, and advocating for children in war-torn areas. The full Troxy concert will remain available on The Cure’s YouTube channel.
