New Subscriber Playlist: “Music for Migraines”

Subscribers can listen to 100+ minutes of music that I frequently turn to for pain relief.
Migraine
A pretty accurate representation of how my brain feels mid-migraine(Ehimetalor Akhere UnuabonaPublic Domain)

Migraines are the worst, and perhaps the worst thing about them is how helpless they make you feel. Once one begins, there’s nothing to do but take some medicine, turn off the lights, crawl into bed, and curl up into the fetal position. That, and put on some soothing music.

My latest subscriber playlist, “Music for Migraines,” features 100+ minutes of music that I turn to for relief in the midst of migraine pain.

Accompanying the playlist is the latest episode of my “Playlist Breakdown” podcast, in which I spotlight one of the playlist’s songs and why it’s so special and meaningful. In this episode, I talk about “Reflections in Suspension,” the quietly epic opening track from Steve Roach’s 1984 ambient classic Structures From Silence.
