After nearly thirty years of music-making, Mogwai have become one of the most recognizable and beloved bands in the post-rock genre thanks to their inventive sonics, dynamic sound, and intense live performances. The upcoming documentary, If the Stars Had a Sound, chronicles the band’s storied career, from their origins in the mid ’90s in Glasgow to the recording of 2021’s acclaimed As the Love Continues.
Directed by Antony Crook, If the Stars Had a Sound will have its world premier at the SXSW festival in March 2024.
