Yes, it’s silly and cheesy, but what else do you expect from a kung fu movie with the “duck” style?

A muddled, fairly uninvolving mess of a movie.

A very powerful movie that shows, in often brutal detail, the effects of war on the friendship of three young men.

I wouldn’t call this one a “must-see,” but if you have a chance to see it, and would like to see more of Jet Li, you certainly can’t go wrong.

Let the masses have their Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. I’ll take Duel to the Death any day.

It’s not a classic by any means but it’s a far sight better than what I thought it would be.
