“Hayao Miyazaki” Archives

I can’t think of a better film with which to introduce a younger generation to the magic and wonder of Hayao Miyazaki.

This may be my least favorite Studio Ghibli film to date.

Nausicaä Of The Valley Of The Wind is worth watching if only to give one a much better context in which to appreciate Miyazaki’s movies.

Kiki’s Delivery Service never devolves to a childish, juvenile comedy, nor does it become overly melodramatic and pretentious.

I find it very easy to get caught up in Miyazaki’s films, mainly because his films often resemble how I remember seeing the world as a child.

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a movie that has filled me with so much wonder.
