“Living in Another World” by Spirit of Talk Talk feat. Mark Gardener

The Ride singer pays tribute to Talk Talk’s third album.

This past weekend, a Spirit of Talk Talk concert event gathered together a group of musicians to pay tribute to the seminal post-rock group and celebrate the 40th anniversary of their third album, The Colour of Spring.

Stereogum’s Margaret Farrell posted a full rundown of the event — which featured the likes of Ed Harcourt, Sophie Barker (Zero 7), and Mark Gardener (Ride) alongside former Talk Talk members Simon Brenner, Phil Ramocon, and Ian Curnow — as well as several videos, including the one above of Gardener taking on “Living in Another World” with harmonica in hand.
