The Big 7,000

Unbeknownst to me, my humble little blog crossed a milestone when I wasn’t paying attention: between the regular archives and the “Cultural Diet” archives, Opus now has over 7,000 posts. 7,125 posts, to be precise. That’s roughly 25 posts/month since the site’s foundation in 1997, or almost a post a day for the last 26 years. (Admittedly, the site’s archives get a little screwy before 2001 due to various imports, exports, and CMS migrations over the years, but you get the picture.)

It also struck me that Opus will be turning 30(!) in just a few short years, which means I should probably start planning something for that particular milestone. (And hopefully add another 1,000 posts in the meantime.)
