My Cure-Related Playlists and Podcast Episodes Are Unlocked

Every month, I send Opus subscribers a playlist that focuses on a particular artist, music genre, or theme. To date, I’ve created and sent out nearly 60 subscriber playlists, each of which is accompanied by a podcast episode. Not surprisingly, some of those are related to The Cure.
To celebrate the impending release of Songs of a Lost World, the first Cure album in 16 years, I’m unlocking my Cure-related playlists and podcasts and making them available to everyone.
April 2022’s playlist, titled “30 Wishes,” features 30 of my favorite Cure songs compiled to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Wish. April 2022’s podcast episode highlights “This Twilight Garden” — a Wish B-side that’s arguably my favorite Cure song of all time.
May 2022’s playlist, titled “Other Voices,” highlights a slew of bands that have been influenced by The Cure over the years, and also includes some covers of classic Cure songs (like Dinosaur Jr.‘s riff on “Just Like Heaven”). May 2022’s podcast episode highlights Antarctica’s “Closetful of Churches” — a song that bears the indelible mark of Faith-era Cure.
Finally, in October 2021, I recorded a podcast episode about The Cure’s “A Letter to Elise” — a mopey ballad that featured quite prominently in my high school soundtrack.
