“Night of Blooming Wonders” by Starsabout
The Polish band’s latest single encapsulates everything I love about their music.
It was exactly one month ago that I wrote about Starsabout’s last single, “If Tomorrow Never Comes,” and here we are with another lovely bit of music from the Polish alternative band.
“Night of Blooming Wonders” has everything I love about Starsabout’s music: Piotr Trypus’s dreamy vocals and pensive lyrics, Klaudiusz Bogusłowicz’s woozy saxophone, and some gorgeous guitar melodies that strike a wonderfully Cure-esque tone during the song’s extended denouement.
In related news, Starsabout recently announced on their Facebook page that they’ll be recording a live session later this month that will feature performances of their most recent singles as well as some older material.
