The Rocinante’s Crew Returns For Another Graphic Novel in The Expanse

Last year, BOOM! Studios released The Expanse: Dragon Tooth, a graphic novel that picked up where the highly acclaimed sci-fi TV series left off. The Dragon Tooth Kickstarter campaign was a massive success, raising over $1.4 million dollars. Thus, it’s not exactly surprising that BOOM! Studios is launching another Expanse-related series and campaign.

The Expanse: A Little Death finds the Rocinante crew caught up in yet another “high stakes conspiracy” after Amos Burton, aka, everyone’s favorite violence-prone mechanic, is contacted by an old acquaintance. As an added bonus, A Little Death’s four issues will be co-written by Wes Chatham, who portrayed Burton in the TV series (and delivered some of its best lines).

The Kickstarter campaign has already smashed its original $50,000 goal, raising over $418,000 to date (with 29 days left to go), and unlocked several stretch goals, including additional artwork and physical merch. Tiers start at $20 to get a digital copy of the graphic novel, with more expensive tiers coming with top-flight bonuses, including an Amos Burton action figure.

BOOM! Studios expects to release The Expanse: A Little Death in November 2026.
