The Ross Is Bringing Seven Samurai Back to Lincoln

Back in June, I wrote about the 4K restoration of Akira Kurosawa’s legendary Seven Samurai, which was created to mark the film’s 70th anniversary. The restored film’s been making its way through American theaters, so naturally, I had hopes that The Ross would bring it to Lincoln. (I was fortunate enough to watch the film there nearly 20 years ago.) Thankfully, that’s going to happen.

The Ross just announced that they’ll be screening Seven Samurai on August 23 – 29, with exact showtimes TBA. As an added bonus, The British Film Institute will be releasing the 4K remaster on Blu-ray on October 21.
