“Try To Sleep” by Low

Low’s ninth full-length album, titled C’mon, will be released by Sub Pop Records on April 12, 2011. The first single from the album, “Try To Sleep,” has begun making its way around the Intertubes, and it’s a lovely little gem. Standing in stark contrast to the cold, austere sound of 2007’s Drums and Guns, “Try To Sleep” sees Low opting for a warmer sound, one full of chimes and jangles, yearning melodies, and those vocal harmonies for which Alan Sparhawk and Mimi Parker have become most famous.

An MP3 of “Try To Sleep” can be downloaded from Sub Pop Records.
