Paddington in Peru’s First Trailer Promises a Delightful Jungle Adventure

The marmalade-loving bear lands in UK theaters this November; American audiences will need to wait until 2025.

If you haven’t watched either of the Paddington movies, then you’re missing out on some of the most delightful movies in recent history, filled with colorful characters, whimsical humor, and some gorgeous production design. A third Paddington movie has been teased for awhile, and seven years after the previous film, it’s finally happening.

This time around, Paddington (voiced by Ben Whishaw) and his adoptive family the Browns travel to “Darkest Peru” to visit Paddington’s beloved Aunt Lucy. But upon arrival, they discover she’s disappeared, which sets up another adventure that takes them through the Amazonian rainforest and Peruvian mountains.

The third Paddington movie features a cast change-up, with Emily Mortimer replacing Sally Hawkins as Mrs. Brown. As for the rest of the cast, Olivia Colman stars as the Reverend Mother who runs the Home for Retired Bears and Antonio Banderas is onboard as a dashing riverboat captain.

Paddington in Peru arrives in UK theaters on November 8, 2024. American moviegoers, however, will need to wait until January 17, 2025.
